About Post 419

Regretfully, in consideration of the COVID-19 crisis and following consultations between our Post Commander, Fred Overton, and East Hampton VFW Post 550 Commander, John Geehreng, ALL MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES AND EVENTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED until further notice.

When it has been deemed safe to do so, we hope to be able to arrange some sort of a suitable gathering/event to once again properly memorialize all of our brothers and sisters that died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. May they all rest in eternal peace.

NEW! 911 MEMORIAL IN AMAGANSETT:
That’s My Brick
:
This is your chance to become a part of a permanent memorial to 911 in Amagansett.
Learn more.

A striking 14-foot structural steel beam salvaged from the debris of the World Trade Center will become an intimate memorial in Amagansett that will offer a space for contemplation for the entire community. The memorial is designed by artist Gustavo Bonevardi, best known for “Tribute in Light” — the twin beams of light projected skyward from Lower Manhattan every September 11th. You may purchase and engrave a brick that will become part of the sculpture.
